What made it worse is that the resources everyone recommends don't work for everyone. Not everyone reads the book once and gets it. I didn't. I needed active strategies and a lot of reps.

I made it through, and I learned a lot along the way, especially about learning itself. That's why I built Brain Brew and OpenReview: to put all of that in one place.
